Kate Elizabeth arrived at 1:53 a.m. on Friday May 22nd. She weighed in at an impressive 7lb 13 oz and 20 inches long! Where was all that baby hiding? Jack is such a proud big brother and does his best to help out. When he first saw her he was elated and overjoyed. It was so cute to see his reaction. Matt has been such a fantastic Daddy and Husband. He has taken night duty every night since we got home so that I could rest uninterupted and heal. He's also taken Jack swimming, to his final soccer game, and his soccer party. I couldn't have asked for better support. With all of this happiness surrounding me, I too am elated and overjoyed. I heard a fantastic quote the other day and it perfectly describes Matt and my feelings towards our new family. It was on a picture frame and it says...."These are the two best decisions we've ever made." Love it!!!!
