2 months gone by

Well today I took Kate for her 2 month well child check and the results are in....Kate is an impressive 11lbs and 24 inches long!!! She's 50th percentile for weight and 70th for height. She did an amazing job getting 3 shots in her chubby little thighs. Bless her heart.

She's been sleeping better over the last couple of nights, which couldn't have come at a better time since I've now returned back to work. She has enjoyed her time at Watch Me Grow and her teachers are head over heals for her. Jack has taken the opportunity to leave his classroom to "check on his baby sister." Too Cute!!!

The thought of leaving Kate at daycare on the first day was hard on me. So I asked Jack to please go visit his sister and give her lots of hugs and kisses. I asked him not to leave his classroom when they practiced their letters, numbers and writing. He looked at me, sighed and with the most serious voice he said, "well I should probably go after lunch then." I couldn't stop laughing. It was as if he was penciling it into his schedule. Nonetheless, he did what I had asked of him and the teachers took a picture of the two of them.
