Growing up too fast!

So many new changes have come upon the Smith Household since the last time I blogged. We've been struck with several illnesses over the past 6 weeks. Stomach flu, pink eye, sinus infection/bronchitis, allergies and recurrent ear infections. Hopefully we have gotten this all out of our systems and will have a healthy fall/winter. Kate has suffered from 2 reccurent double ear infections in the past month, so with careful consideration we have decided to move her to an inhome daycare environment. Nicole will be her new sitter and she came highly recommended by 2 of our friends. In the meantime, Matt's mom graciously flew to Phoenix on Wednesday of last week to help us out! She's staying until the 31st and we are so incredibly thankful!!!

Jack has been doing fantastic in school!! His printing and site word recognition is improving everyday. He got to meet a real firefighter at school this week at school for fire safety week. He said, " Yeah mom his name was Chris and I think we was like 22 or something. And he was really BIG!"

Kate is almost 5 months old and has experienced so many firsts! She's rolling over from her back to her tummy. Once she gets on her tummy she looks like a stuck turtle that can't get back over :) She also is starting to jump in her jumperoo which is hysterical to watch. She's been chewing on everything in site. We can see about 9 teeth that are starting to bud. Friday one tooth on the bottom just popped right through! We started cereal this weekend too. I was laughing so hard at her facial expressions so she started laughing too. I think she thinks it's a game.

We are looking forward to Halloween and going to the pumpkin patch!
