Well, what can I say? These past few weeks have been a little crazy. Kate swallowed a small watch sized battery at school last week. Thankfully, she was xrayed within minutes of it happening and it was in her stomach! After 2 days of "diaper diving" a beautiful shiney battery was discovered! Then last Friday Kate had to have her left ear tube replaced since it fell out a few weeks ago. Apparently, she had so much thick mucous behind ear that was just waiting to become infected. The ENT took such wonderful care of her and she did amazingly well. Now she's starting to talk sooo much. She says "All Done" "Sorry" and "uh oh" She also started doing sommersaults! Hillarious! There's never a dull moment with that kid.
Jack on the other hand is so stinking funny! He's growing up way too fast! When he heard of Kate's battery incident he simply stated, "Well thank goodness she didn't die!" LOL! He's starting to read so well and I'm amazed at his growth everyday! His teacher called and said he's one of her top readers in the class! Matt and I couldn't be more proud of our little boy.
Matt's parents will be here tomorrow to come stay for the winter! We are so excited to spend some quality time with them. I can't wait for them to see how much the kids have changed since we saw them in October.
