"Katie Bug" has tubes!

Our little Katie Bug did so awesome on Friday morning! We had to be at the surgery center at 6 a.m. and she had to be npo after midnight. So when she woke up hungry at 5, we were a little nervous. Once we got in the car, off to sleep she went. The procedure itself only took about 10 minutes!! Her ENT, Dr. Chaung, came out and told us that her right ear looked fine, but her left ear had a lot of fluid and mucous in it.

About 10 min later we went to recovery where our sweetie pie was hungry and feeling crummy from the anesthesia. She was sobbing,lethargic, and confused. So after eating, 30 min of crying and tooting from the anesthesia, she calmed down enough to drive home. Since then she seems to be so much happier and comfortable! Thank God for medical interventions!!!!
