Kindergarten 2010-2011

Ladies and Gentleman... We have a Kindergarten!!! Jack was excited and nervous today when Matt, Kate, and I walked him through the front door. His teacher Mrs. Larson was eagerly awaiting her new students. Jack found his name at his desk, put his lunch box and water bottle in the designated area and sat down.

When it was time for the parents to leave, no tears shed from Jack, but mommy had crocodile tears streaming down her face! As Jack entered into his new school, his life flashed before my eyes. From birth until now, all of Jack's firsts were our firsts too! I anticipated this day for sooo long, and I'm astonished that the "big day" was today!!

I picked Jack and his friend Spencer up from school, and of course he couldn't tell me anything about his day. But as the night has gone by, I learned that Jack had a great time at recess and lunch time. He was able to see a few of his friends from preschool today that are in other classes. Jack wasn't real impressed with music class today. Thankfully, tomorrow they have computer lab class in the afternoon. Jack did say, " Mommy today was a really long day" Therefore, by 8 o'clock tonight both kids in bed! Off to day #2
