San Diego

Our San Diego vacation was interesting to say the least! The drive there was such a blast! Matt and I had a great time laughing and catching up. Once we arrived to our new surroundings, we were eager to check it out. We were less than 2 blocks from the Ocean and steps away from the Bay. Jack didn't like the waves on the day he and Matt went boogie boarding, but at least he can say that he tried it. The water was freezing cold. We are so wimpy with cold watering being from AZ. Matt took us to the amazing USS Midway! Jack and Matt had so much fun checking out all of the planes. We had fun flying kites, collecting sea shells, playing at the carnival on the boardwalk, and taking long walks. With Kate being so young, it was difficult to as much as we had hoped to. So we'll have to try this again in another few years. The most important thing is that Jack has some good memories to share.
